Hi! I’m Teagan. I am the owner and founder of Oh Hey Freelancer. I started my business back in 2015 with the goal of impacting as many people’s lives as I could. A goal to help other highly-skilled individuals create and grow their own businesses so they can break free of the cycles that are keeping them stuck.
I took my first dive into business ownership at 26 after graduating from art school with my BFA. Quickly learning that business was not going to be the overnight success I had hoped (drats!), I headed back into the corporate world and used my free time to learn all I could about business & how to be successful.
About 5 years later I discovered I was about to be a mom and didn’t want to pay someone else to watch all the firsts my little was about to have. Fast forward to being a new mom with a six-month-old and still working a full-time job, the unthinkable happened. I got demoted from my director position to a designer. I knew that was the time.
I started marketing and reaching out, and after 2 weeks time, I had replaced my full-time income. A week later I quit my full-time job and haven’t looked back since.
Since taking the leap I have built a multiple 6-figure virtual assistance agency, and multiple other successful businesses, and am on a mission to help others do the same.
